  Very, very busy water. Even for this time of year February. The lake itself has far too many swims creating very little space for anglers to fish comfortably and in some cases safely. In my 24hour spell I was cast over 4 times! Just seems to be well take your money. This was further more backed up with the 3 rod rule that you were supposed to be able to use mid week? 3rods is definitely too much however if your paying for 3 then told its 2 where is the reduction in price? And we was told its just too busy so it's 2! OK you will probably catch a few but there is a price to pay. The tracks are as muddy as anything and ensure you have a barrow and boots to navigate around the lake. As again the quad bike/trailer was non existent! And when asked on arrival just said we had to walk it. Now iam not lazy or unfit but blimey it was hard work. Other points of interest lots of branches floating around possibly due to the recent work on cutting back the islands? Several times we were wiped out by these as the wind pushed these branches through our main lines. Also reeled in large balls of line which were entangled within the weed.
  Overall not satisfied with the standard of the fishery and the way a paying customer was miss sold as a prime day ticket water. Disappointed based on my experience.
